The Flow Of Gratefulness

I am blessed in many ways. For years people have been flying me all over the world to entertain people from every walk of life. Its as if this has always been my destiny in life and it just keeps on materializing from every direction. I am completely humbled by the force of it.

This weekend I traveled to Costa Rica. I had been in Central America before, however, I was not able to see it because my time was limited. At the time I was singing on a cruise ship. This time was different. I arrived by plane with about 11 other people and we truly had a wonderful time. When I travel, I am committed to focus on the details of that particular place and to learn as much as possible from the natives. I can say without a doubt, that these are some of the happiest people that I have ever seen. They are so polite and so intent on showing you a great time.

There was food and alcohol everywhere!Whatever you desired, it was there for the taking. As I looked outside of my window at some monkeys that were on the balconies waiting to be fed by some naive children, I told myself that I was not in NYC anymore for sure. This place was a paradise and it was full of vegetation and sunshine. I mostly stayed out of the sun, because it was stronger than I thought it was. However, that did not stop me from getting a massage on the beach while the sound of the waves crashing down behind me soothed my soul.

I watched these natives as they peddles their wares and were not ashamed of their aggressiveness at all. I am guessing that you sell things and eat or you do not eat. That alone is a great motivator. The staff inside of the resort were not connected to the people who were on the beach. They were separate, but very friendly and could actually speak English too! They just smiled and gave me all of the warmth that was humanly possible. If it was fake, then for sure I know where a ton of academy award winning people are for certain. The hospitality oozed form their bodies.

My performance was a knockout. Actually, I should say that "our" performance was a knockout. We all played our part to make that locomotive run smoothly. I looked out at literally hundreds of people this past weekend as I performed. I could see their happiness and I could feel their warmth. They knew how to really do their job. The shower was heavenly, the bed was king, and the sink was doubled. I even had a jacuzzi on my front balcony. To top it all off, there were different kinds of restaurants in the resort that you could choose from when they were open. Everything was paid for by the client.

This past weekend I was again given a round trip ticket to perform at a place where the energy was high and the drinks were being consumed faster than the water from a hose over a three alarm fire. Free drinks are a huge problem for some people. I am in the flow of gratefulness and it feels wonderful. These faces were happy and very genuine. The room service was also top shelf. Each and every person that I came into contact with was super pleasant.

Basic post. A moment in time. I am in the flow of gratefulness and I cannot be stopped..Reach further and don't forget to have fun. It pays off handsomely..
