Steeping Into The Challenges

I have been told so many times that challenges are blessings in disguise. So when they arrive, I take stock of them and act accordingly. Life is funny that way. You know that things will change from time to time and you just learn to accept it. There are so many lessons is these challenging times and it never ends. It is said that we are never given more than we can handle. It's something that I have heard for my entire life from many different people and books and so forth. I believe that we can handle anything that comes our way.

  There are people and situations that are placed in front of us just to see what we will do during a time of challenge and/or uncertainty. Then when we come out on the other side, we usually gain something that makes the next time easier or even allows us to even help another person based on our new found wisdom. I have also found that the best thing to do when you are in a challenging situation is to claim responsibility for it right away. If someth…

The Strength Of A Father

This post could probably go on for days. I will do my best to keep it succinct though. I often think of the many ways that I have been blessed to have two very strong fathers. I think of how each one of them grew up with the influence of their father as well. They had the opportunity to then take what they learned and pass it on to me. So how did they decide what to pass along and what to keep to themselves? I watch fathers all of the time. I truly cannot explain why, except that it fascinates me how many ways this huge role can be carried out. It can be done so right and it can seem to be done so wrong as well. It's not something just anyone can carry out. It could possibly be the most difficult and diverse thing for a man to undertake in this lifetime.
