How Much Time Do We Have?

Image
This is a question that most people do not think about, they just think its a long time and then something happens that gets their attention. This question gets my attention almost daily. Its not that I worry about it, its that I respect it. So if you were told exactly how much time you had left on this earth, would it light a fire underneath you to really start living or would you not even believe it? Well I know one thing for sure, you have to have a reason to live passionately before you can actually do it. When I ask that question to people in my circle from time to time, most people are just working on existing or just holding on to survive. That could not possibly be why we were put here on this earth.

Yesterday I listened to a speaker that I have the utmost respect for here in NYC. He is a mentor to me in  many ways and I really listen when he speaks. This man's name in Ron Nelson. There is something regal about the way that he speaks and delivers his information th…

Ahhhhhhh! In The Fine Spirit Of Giving

My day started by me rising early and helping a good friend move her car from a parking spot because the car was not functional. Long story short, she came to move the car, however, it did not start, so we were preparing to push it down a hill and pop the clutch so that maybe we could get it going. He decided to help us anyway and she was able to drive the car off and straight to the mechanic. I do not believe that any part of that story was a coincidence. That man was there right on time because he was supposed to help us.

I was on my way to the laundry after I had helped my friend, or should I say, I was prepared to help her before that incredible man showed up. Anyhow, I asked her if she would drive me about 5 blocks to the laundromat so I could clean my stuff. She was more than happy to be of assis…

Thinking Outside Of The Box

I am without a doubt fascinated by those who do what others do not do or make a way to do what calls them the strongest. I look for this daily and when I find it, I am very happy. So there I was walking through one of the most stimulating parts of this amazing city. Union Square is a place where there is always a show or a spectacle of some kind. You can donate to the cause or just sit or stand there and be entertained. If you ever come here and are able to spend some time in Union Square, be sure to leave a little donation, it makes a bog difference to each artist.

As I read the message on this man's box. I had to stop. He told me that he was trained in design and that the had been doing this for quite a while. No when I read it, I was taken by the fact that he was actually doing what he was painting. His hands and the paint where on the outside of the box and he was actually sitting on the inside. What a friendly man and how receptive he was to my questions and to just bein…
